My passion for the human psyche and my desire to support people in their personal and professional development have led me on a journey of training as a psychoanalyst and group analyst and expanding my skills through additional training as an organizational consultant, coach and supervisor. I am actively involved in various professional societies. Since 2021, I have been editor-in-chief of the Journal of Analytical Psychology.
Today, I use this broad knowledge and my many years of practical experience to support leaders and teams in both industry and the public sector in overcoming complex challenges and developing their full potential to master their critical tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
Holding an Executive Masters in Consulting and Coaching for Change (EMCCC) from INSEAD Business School, as well as certificates from Tavistock Consulting in Executive Coaching and Group Dynamics, I use the Systems-Psychodynamics school of thought as a lens to help clients face difficult conversations, surfacing existing scripts, so-called unwritten rules of behavoiur, keeping teams stuck, inhibit richer collaboration, and constructive exchange. With more than 15 years’ experience in designing and implementing tailored learning and development programmes for executives in my role as a learning manager and executive coach with IMD Business School in Lausanne.
Born in Germany, my curiosity for other cultures, people, and international relations has brought me to live, study, and work in the UK, Italy, France, Spain, Japan, Poland, the US, and Switzerland and I work in English, French and German.
I am a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), the International Society for Psychological Study of Organizations (ISPSO). I am a confirmed PhD candidate at NIODA, and am holding the Managing Director role of the boutique learning consultancy, antepodes.org.
My core belief is that all leaders and teams have the capacity to grow faster than their challenges. However, intense organisational challenges trigger our instinctive performance response, which may inhibit us from being as impactful and effective as we wish to be. The intensity of senior roles often doesn’t allow space to clearly see, how we could approach our challenges differently and limits us from exercising our authentic style as well as a wider leadership repertoire. I am passionate about helping leaders to re-discover or re-align with our core purpose, our authenticity and our potential. This is the space, that I am excited to create for and with my clients, and together uncover these shifts.
In this work, I draw from my own experiences of over 15 years at multinationals in leadership roles heavily impacted by and accountable for organisational transformation. These experiences allow me to relate to my clients and place them in the context of their leadership challenges. Since 2012 my coaching practice has been underpinned by continuous field and academic training in the disciplines of systems-psychodynamics, clinical psychology, unconscious group dynamics, and psycho-social research of organisations. I hold a variety of certifications in executive coaching, psychometric assessments and organisational development practices.
